About me

Title: Global Architect and Executive Innovation Developer – SLED (State, Local, Education), Federal & National Security agencies. Jason Dunn-Potter is an Executive Innovation Director & Global Architect for the US Public Sector at Intel Corporation under Intel Governmental Technologies (IGT). As a part of the IGT team, he is charged with working directly with Government Agencies and Industry partners to solve complex problems by providing trusted thought leadership and candid feedback. He has worked in and around the US Public Sector, the DOD, and National Security organizations for over 30 years. Prior to joining Intel Jason served over 26 years as an Active Army Soldier as a Signaleer (Signal Corps) starting as a private and retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW5). His previous assignments included the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He has also deployed multiple times to Iraq (OIF III & V), Afghanistan (OEF), MIA recovery ops to Laos as well as Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Recovery operations. Where he provided tactical and strategic communications across various platforms and command echelons. Whether in or out of uniform he has championing optimization, brought innovative change, and lead cohesive teams of technical experts. He has an extensive background in tactical platforms (Air, Land, Sea, and Space) as well as fixed site architectures (Data Centers). Jason is formally educated and credentialed. He currently holds several degrees including a Master of Science of Information Technology and an active CISSP for well over a decade. He has graduated hundreds of hours of professional education & tech training, including achieving nearly a dozen industry certifications in various aspects of IT including Network, Systems, Server, Cyber Security and Executive Management. He is a proud member of many professional organizations including AFCEA, AUSA, USAWOA (Former President of the Lonestar Chapter), SCRA and a senior mentor for Warriors Ethos. He has published multiple articles for industry trade publications as well as DOD doctrine.
