Zarina Blankenbaker, Ph.D., currently serves as President of Tarrant County College - Northwest since June 2017. Prior to this role, Zarina held the position of Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Success at Richland College from November 2015 to June 2017, where responsibilities included advancing student learning in a technology-enhanced environment as Chief Learning Officer. Zarina holds a Bachelor of Science in English - Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, both from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education/Community College Leadership from the University of North Texas.
