About me

Currently a Biomedical Engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin passionate about pursuing a career at the intersection of medicine, aerospace, and advanced technology. My long-term objective is to serve as a flight surgeon supporting human spaceflight and high-performance aviation, contributing to the next era of exploration through organizations such as NASA, SpaceX, and the U.S. military’s aerospace medical corps. My work is grounded in applied engineering and translational research. I have designed and developed multiple hardware-software systems machine learning frameworks, including: • A real-time embedded system to prevent pediatric hot car fatalities • An AI-powered violence detection device (patent pending) • A convolutional neural network model for identifying malarial parasites from thin blood smear images These projects have earned national and international recognition, including awards from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, and top placements at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. Beyond research, I lead STEMVest, a nonprofit organization focused on expanding STEM access and opportunity for underserved students. Through STEMVest, I work to bridge gaps in educational resources, mentorship, and exposure to advanced technical pathways. To date, STEMVest has raised $20,000+, and have reached thousands of students globally. I am particularly interested in the convergence of aerospace medicine, artificial intelligence, biomedical systems design, and human performance optimization. Whether in a lab, a clinic, or a mission control environment, I aim to operate where engineering precision meets human physiology, building systems that expand human capability and safeguard life in extreme environments. Outside of academics and research, I am a golfer, drummer, and car enthusiast. I remain actively engaged in service initiatives focused on education, healthcare access, and community resilience. I am truly driven by one core principle: deploy technical skill in service of meaningful impact.
