The Texas economy is the best in the nation, with a civilian labor force of 15.3 million people. Today, universities and colleges are playing a major role in regional economic development. In this opening session, Dallas College Chancellor Justin Lonon and Texas A&M Fort Worth Chief Operating Officer Robert Ahdieh will discuss how educators in Texas are collaborating to ensure that Texas continues build a sustainable economy.
