Information

Texas’ central location and investment in road, rail and air networks have put it above all other states when it comes to the movement of people and goods. The state’s infrastructure has led to it being the nation’s top exporter for 19 consecutive years; having more miles of public roads and freight rail than any other state.

Trade in Texas is a significant contributor to the state's strong economic position. Texas has 11 deep-draft ports, eight shallow-draft ports, and two recreational ports that are critical to the economic growth of the state and are key components of the state's transportation system.

To learn how Texas will continue to invest in an ever evolving transportation, port, and trade network, don't miss this panel.
