I am the Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship Eugenio Garza Lagüera at Tecnológico de Monterrey (in Monterrey). My activities included the design and development of technology-based entrepreneurship ecosystems, science and technology parks, and technology commercialization initiatives. I also supervise the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) program in México. My professional and business experience covers more than 20 years managing technology-based regional development projects in the Americas and Europe. My academic experience has been at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico as well as The IC2 Institute of The University of Texas at Austin.
