As a former Assistant Superintendent and Chief Technology Officer in multiple Dallas-area school districts, Matt has a proven track record of leading transformative initiatives. He has spearheaded district-wide 1:1 device deployments, designed next-generation learning environments, and managed large-scale bond and broadband infrastructure projects. His leadership was instrumental in securing substantial technology funding and expanding equitable access to learning for thousands of students and families. Appointed by the Governor of Texas to the Governor’s Broadband Development Council, Matt is a key voice in shaping broadband policy for the state, helping build a more connected and inclusive digital future for all Texans. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management and Business Administration from Texas A&M University and an MBA from East Texas A&M University.
