I am the Founder/CEO of LONE STAR NIL, LLC, a new and exclusive name, image and likeness opportunity that connects Texas-based college students attending in-state universities and colleges with the robust statewide business community. We are based in Frisco, Texas, where I also serve as President/CEO of Southwest Sports Partners, LLC, an athletics consulting and sports events services firm. My background includes over 30 years in college athletics administration, including campus and conference administrative duties, high-level NCAA committee service, championship events hosting, and television and sponsorship rights negotiations. I served nearly two decades as the commissioner of the Frisco-based Southland Conference, one of the 32 NCAA Division I leagues. I also recently served as the chairman of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee that oversees all administration for March Madness and the Final Four. I'm also very proud to have led the community-wide effort in 2010 to bring the NCAA's Division I (FCS) Football National Championship Game to Frisco, where the annually sold-out game remains today. I am a Houston native, graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1988, and I reside in McKinney, Texas.
