Dr. Jesús Roberto Rodríguez serves as the President of Texas Southmost College (TSC), a role he has held since July 2017. Under his leadership, TSC has focused on increasing student enrollment, improving success rates, and strengthening community partnerships within the Rio Grande Valley. Professional Background & Leadership Current Role: President of TSC and CEO of the TSC Foundation. Key Achievement: He was recognized with the prestigious 2023 Western Regional CEO Award by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) for his work in developing innovative programs and maintaining TSC as one of the most affordable higher education institutions in the region. Growth: Notably, during his tenure, TSC was one of the few colleges nationally to see enrollment growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior Experience: Before joining TSC, he held leadership positions at Lone Star College (LSC).
