As CEO of the Laredo Economic Development Corporation, David is charged with growing and diversifying the economy of the nation’s largest volume port, and the world’s largest land port. He has practiced economic development in Texas and Georgia as President of the Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County, and Board engagements with the Greater Houston Partnership, Partnership Gwinnett and the Pearland Economic Development Corporation. In the private sector he was COO of The Excelerater, an incubator for emerging technology companies, and as Vice President of Marketing for Gemcraft Homes, Media Concepts and Leader Federal. His prior advertising background included stints with Ogilvy & Mather and Daigle, Koye, Jodinskas & Whitaker. He is an Investor Member of TeamTexas, Texas Economic Development Corporation and a Board Member of NASCO.
