Before becoming Assistant Dean for AI at Mays Business School, Arnold Castro spent nearly seven years as Chief Data & Technology Officer at MFG Analytic. There, he played a key role in helping organizations worldwide adopt and implement AI technologies, whether by developing AI-powered applications or offering strategic guidance. With more than 25 years of experience in technology, Arnold’s background spans industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, finance, and aerospace. He also served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Combat Engineer at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Arnold earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Campbell University, along with an MBA (’17) and an MS in Analytics (’22) from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.
