39 years with Lone Star College serving as Sr. Associate Vice Chancellor for External and Employer Relations working with businesses and healthcare organizations to develop new certificates, certifications and degree programs and to identify talent. Also led Veteran Affairs, Corporate College (customized training and grant projects), Business Advisory Councils, Adult Basic Education and more. I continue this work as a consultant so that I can also spend time with my grandchildren and travel! Board member of Career Gear Houston, past-board chair The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and the National Council for Continuing Ed & Training, past board member The Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce and the National Council for Workforce Education. Also a member of the Houston HIspanic Chamber of Commerce. Have also served on the American Association of Community Colleges (1024 of them) Commission for Workforce & Economic Development, THECB Workforce Advisory Council and more.
