Mark King is a proven business leader and strategic advisor with over 40 years of experience in driving transformative growth and delivering measurable outcomes across a wide range of industries. He is highly regarded for his expertise in corporate leadership and entrepreneurship, specializing in helping organizations navigate complex business challenges, mergers and acquisitions, and operational optimization.
Mark’s leadership experience includes serving as Chairman and CEO of Micropac Industries, a publicly traded leader in high-reliability electronics for defense, medical, industrial, and aerospace sectors. Under his direction, the company’s valuation increased tenfold, culminating in a successful acquisition by a major public corporation. Additionally, Mark co-founded a manufacturing startup, guiding it from inception to a strategic sale to an international firm. Earlier in his career, Mark spent 22 years at Texas Instruments, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, and continued his career at Raytheon following its acquisition of TI.
Mark led technology policy and product development strategies as the Director of Technology for Texas Instruments in Washington, D.C., where he assisted the Pentagon, R&D centers, and lobbied Congress. He also managed the sales office for TI in Ohio and developed the acquisition strategy for TI Defense Systems as Director of Strategy, while overseeing the company's R&D investment decisions, leading to the Raytheon acquisition of TI Defense Systems.
Today, Mark collaborates closely with executives and boards to help organizations uncover growth opportunities and implement strategies that drive increased company value. Whether leading mergers and acquisitions, streamlining business processes, or optimizing operations, Mark’s extensive experience enables him to deliver impactful results. His areas of expertise include technology, product development, organizational culture, sales, and operational performance, with a particular focus on leveraging advanced systems such as ERP, CRM, and Artificial Intelligence to scale business growth. At Micropac he led the new ERP integration of EPICOR and built a new state of the art manufacturing facility.
Additionally, Mark's leadership extends beyond the corporate world, as he remains actively involved in community service and nonprofit organizations. He has served as a Board member and Board Chairman for multiple nonprofits.
A Certified NACD Board Leadership Fellow and holder of the NACD Board Certification, Mark was recently honored with the “Outstanding Director of the Year” award for his exemplary leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and maintains a TS/SCI clearance.

Originally from West Virginia, Mark and his wife Patti moved to Texas in 1978 and have also lived in Washington, D.C., and Dayton, Ohio. They are the proud parents of two children, Mark Jr. and Mary Beth, with seven grandchildren.
